In late 2022, Rochester Institute of Technology found itself on the crusade no social media professional wants to be in: looking for a new management platform. The journey that followed involved adventure, fear, loathing, panic, despair, deep learning and ultimately — thrilling success! The team found out a lot about what it needed to learn, how to avoid pitfalls and hidden traps in the process, whether or not social media management treasures actually exist, and how to know what wants to hold on to and what to let go. In this session, in a totally platform agnostic fashion, Dave and Jennelle will share the lessons that can help you and your team arrive at a holy grail for your school's specific needs, whether you're a lone adventurer or have an army of top people working with you.
