We’re looking forward to you joining us Sept. 22-25! Below are resources to help you prepare for the HighEdWeb 2024 Annual Conference. Keep checking this page for more information.

Before the conference

Location and venue

We’re excited to meet you in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment! Learn more about our location and venue, including hotel and transportation options, and local attractions to make the most of your stay.

Download the mobile app

The attendee mobile app gives you access to all things #HEWeb24, including information about our sessions, presenters, sponsors and more! You’ll use the app during the conference to access your schedule, chat with attendees and submit questions during sessions.

Here’s how to get started:

  • Download Attendee Mobile on the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Scan the QR code on the back of your nametag or search for HighEdWeb 2024 and load the HighEdWeb 2024 Conference event.

  • After you log in, select the menu button again and open the Dashboard to start building your schedule.

Poster Sessions

Our online poster sessions will debut in the week leading up to HighEdWeb 2024 Annual Conference. Join us online during your lunch break Tuesday, Sept. 17 from 12 p.m.-1 p.m. MDT to enjoy our live airing of poster sessions in Event Hub. The session presenters will be online during the hour to chat with viewers.

This year’s lineup of poster topics range from content and marketing to accessibility and user testing — and more! Find all the online poster sessions in the conference schedule.

Conference and event attire

Conference attire is business casual — with a strong emphasis on the “casual.” Jeans, tees, khakis and comfy kicks are common, too, both during the conference sessions and at evening events. Remember, session rooms can be chilly, so you may want to throw in a sweater for daytime wear.

Albuquerque weather

Expect plenty of sunshine! The average temperatures in September reach highs in the 80s and lows in the 50s. At an elevation of over 5,000 feet, the UV rays are stronger during the day, and nights can get chilly.

Here are some packing tips:

  • Bring a sweater or light jacket.
  • Pack a hat, sunscreen and other sun protection if you'll be outdoors.
  • Don’t forget your water bottle! It can take a couple days to adjust to the high altitude, so drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.

Learn more about climate and dress on the Visit Albuquerque website.

The HighEdWeb Annual Conference is committed to providing a safe and streamlined environment for all community members attending in Albuquerque. Find out more about event safety and responsibility.
