Description

I'll be addressing a pressing need in higher education: engaging alumni through ongoing professional development opportunities via digital platforms. With the rise of digital technology's role in our lives, higher education institutions are increasingly seeking innovative methods to maintain and enhance their relationships with alumni. This session showcases a successful model from UC Davis Graduate School of Management, providing both inspiration and practical strategies for creating an engaging online learning community.

Designed to appeal to a broad range of conference attendees, this presentation will share insights into the development and management of online platforms that support lifelong learning for alumni. This includes leveraging digital marketing to foster community engagement and utilizing metrics to gauge success. Given the challenges in alumni engagement post-graduation and the critical importance of lifelong learning, our presentation offers timely, actionable strategies for professionals in alumni relations, digital marketing and continuing education.

By highlighting the school's experiences and outcomes, I aim to contribute to the wider discussion on the future of alumni engagement and digital innovation in higher education. This is a highly relevant topic, offering attendees valuable insights into leveraging technology to build vibrant, supportive online alumni communities.
