Jessica Pontarelli is a higher ed communications professional with over a decade of experience working in communications, design and storytelling. Currently, she is a director of communications at Brown University.
At the core of Jessica's work is a deep respect for the power of communications and storytelling to inspire and foster community. She currently leads a communications team at Brown's Swearer Center for Public Service, a communications team for Brown Votes, a university-wide collective impact initiative, storytelling programs and more. She completed her undergraduate studies in communications and holds a Master of Science degree in organizational leadership. She also has professional certifications in copy editing and graphic design.
Born and raised in the Ocean State, Jessica is an avid lover of all things water. When she is not by the ocean, she loves to spend her time traveling, cooking, being with her family and agonizing over the NYT crossword puzzle.
