Matt Gerrish

Matt Gerrish is Utah State University’s Director of Social Media, leading one of the highest-ranked collegiate social media presences in the nation. He has worked as a full-time social media professional in higher education for more nearly 10 years, also serving as a new media consultant for the Utah High School Activities Association and Utah School Boards Association, managing their social media communications. Matt earned his master’s degree in Professional Communication, and previously worked as a journalist at the Ogden Standard-Examiner for four years. Matt is also an adjunct professor in Weber State University’s Department of Communication.
