Alaina Wiens is a marketing leader and strategy coach with 20 years of experience in digital strategy, branding, and strategic planning. She is the chief marketing and communications officer for the Flint & Genesee Group. In her work, she develops and executes strategic marketing and communication plans for a parent-brand organization, four individual business divisions, and promotes Flint, Mich., as a travel destination.

Prior to her current role, Wiens served in a variety of web-related roles at the University of Michigan-Flint for 11 years. Since 2013, Wiens has also been the human behind StrategyCar, a support network for higher education and nonprofit professionals.
