Andrea has been a faculty member at UTC Library since 2001, serving as head of the Access Services Department until 2009 when they moved into Library Information Technology. As digital development librarian, they perform custom coding and database work, support for library systems, and data analysis for various library projects.
Andrea holds a master's in computer science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and both a master's in library and information science and bachelor's degrees in music (vocal performance) and music education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
