Rachell Underhill is the Director of Web and Information Systems for The Graduate School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has 15 years of experience with higher education websites and is responsible for developing and managing The Graduate School's web properties and web-based applications. Her special interests include effective communication techniques, universal and user-centered design, and web accessibility. Her presentation on plain language communication was voted Best of Conference at HighEdWeb 2020.
Underhill fell in love with all things web during the golden age of Usenet and in her spare time she enjoys indulging in all things pop culture and traveling to see live music.
