Charlotte Claypoole McKinney is the Assistant Director of Communication-Multimedia at Meredith College. Her responsibilities include conceptualizing, creating, and producing multimedia marketing content that tells stories across a variety of platforms including advertising, broadcast, social media, and the college website. She also supports the Director of Visual Communication in managing the college brand with an emphasis on multimedia design standards. In 2018, McKinney received the Allen and Barbara Page Presidential Award in recognition of exemplary service to the Meredith community. Before joining Meredith in 2012, McKinney was the Video Technician for Durham Public Schools Channel 4. She also served as an advisor for the Explorer Post 50 program at the Durham Bulls, where she volunteered from 2009 – 2014. McKinney graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. She also has a successful business as a freelance photographer.
