An award-winning writer and editor, Cyndi generates and manages key communications projects that tell the story of Michigan Tech on digital and print platforms. She guides unified marketing and communications across Michigan Tech's five academic colleges. A story shepherd who thrives on collaboration, the former journalist's superpowers include content strategy, editorial management and media relations.
A 2019 conference attendee, Cyndi's still putting what she learned in Milwaukee to good use and looks forward to more golden nuggets (not to mention airplane karaoke). A presenter at the 2024 regional conference in Grand Rapids, Cyndi aims to inspire other content creators to brainstorm, craft and co-create with their teams to share narratives that set their schools apart and help students find their best-fit institutions.
Cyndi earned her bachelor of arts in communication, culture and media from Michigan Tech.
