Amy has been a Digital Accessibility Manager with Bixal, a federal contracting firm since 2022. Her expertise lies at the intersection of accessibility and usability, and she has contributed to the digital field for over 20 years including nearly a decade at the University of Arkansas System, Division of Agriculture. She has a Master's Degree in Technical Writing and is UX Certified with the Nielsen Norman Group. She is also a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies and consults with federal and state organizations on 508 accessibility compliance and strategy for web and digital media. In her spare time she enjoys running, gardening, drawing and painting. Amy is married and has two teenage daughters and is a longtime resident of Little Rock, Arkansas.
