Long time running: Reflections on a long rewarding career

Forty years working in IT (yes, I was on the internet before it was called the internet), 35 years in higher education, 30 years creating websites, 25 years working full-time on the web, not to mention hundreds of presentations across the globe including 27 at HighEdWeb events. I've been around the block a few times and have learned a few things along the way. Part history lesson, part commentary on the current state of affairs and part look into the crystal ball, this presentation will share lessons learned from a long career and offer advice and guidance on succeeding as a higher education web professional.
