The Higher Education Web Professionals Association hosted its first HighEdWeb Accessibility Summit in 2020. Since then, this one-day, online event has grown to feature a variety of offerings, including pre-recorded video presentations with live Q&A, virtual poster sessions and expo hall, as well as networking events and group activities.

In 2022, the summit offered 15+ presentations, poster presentations, and welcomed almost 400 professionals from around the world. 

Based on participant feedback from the annual event in 2022, the HighEdWeb Accessibility Summit provided insight into two key areas where many of our attendees felt they needed more training at basic and advanced levels. Thanks to our sponsors, HighEdWeb has the opportunity to provide high-quality, high-impact content and learning experiences to meet this need at a low cost for our attendees.

The 2023 Accessibility Summit on July 25 will bring together professionals across web and digital communication disciplines in Higher Education for continuing professional development. This is an opportunity to network and share how you can help attendees meet goals and challenges within their organization.
