Case Study: Creating Accessibility Training for Faculty and Staff

This presentation looks at the steps that went into creating an accessibility training for the University of Rochester, including:

• Why we decided to create and implemented the training
• Who the training was created for
• Deciding what content to include or exclude
• What sources were used to create the content

This presentation will also include a discussion of how the training was received by attendees, what follow-up was done after the presentation, and recommendations for how to get started on implementing their own training.  Attendees will also receive a copy of the PowerPoint used in the training as a stepping stone to build their own training off of.
