Alaina Wiens is a marketing director and strategy coach with 20 years of experience in digital strategy, branding and strategic planning. She currently holds a dual position as marketing director for the Flint & Genesee Group and executive director for Explore Flint & Genesee. In her work, she develops and executes strategic marketing for a parent-brand company, four individual business divisions and Flint, Michigan, as a travel destination. Prior to her current position, Wiens served in a variety of web-related roles at the University of Michigan-Flint for 11 years. Since 2013, Wiens has also been the human behind StrategyCar, a support network for higher education and nonprofit professionals.
