Biography
Nikki Massaro Kauffman is a Principal UX Engineer, Accessibility with Red Hat where she develops accessible web components for PatternFly Elements (patternflyelements.org) and Red Had Design System (ux.redhat.com). Prior to working at Red Hat, Nikki developer open-source web components to make Penn State University's online courses accessible, media rich and interactive. She believes that accessibility, higher education, the web, and open source are about reaching more people. Nikki has degrees in computer science and in education and has been working in these fields since 1998. She has been presenting for HighEdWeb's events since 2008.
