Nick is passionate about Accessibility and has been most of his career. From working in the physical space of college campuses doing construction and maintenance during his 20s to becoming a lead developer for a WordPress VIP partner agency that has found a niche in higher ed and massive networks, Nick has always put accessibility first.
Nick took the time to improve his knowledge by earning International Associate of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) certifications, including Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS), Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC), and Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA). Nick has also completed his 508 Trusted Tester training.
After earning these certifications, tragedy struck, and now Nick is father to a disabled daughter, which has opened his eyes even further into the obstacles affecting people with disabilities. This has further increased his passion to make the world accessible.
When not working, Nick enjoys life in rural northern Virginia with his wife, four children, and two dogs.
