Alexa Valdez is a Systems Safety Engineer for Raytheon Intelligence and Space and an Adjunct Faculty member in the Johns Hopkins University Space Systems Engineering Master's Program. A recent graduate of the program, Alexa returned as an instructor in the Systems Engineering for Space course, where she brought her passion for student support to the course redevelopment team. As a member of the Faculty Forward Academy, Alexa collaborates with colleagues and instructional designers throughout the JHU Engineering for Professionals Program on inclusive teaching and online course design.
