Biography
Following law school at the University of Minnesota and a clerkship at the Minnesota Court of Appeals, Erin started working as an associate attorney for a firm in Minneapolis, primarily in the school law unit. As a lousy golfer, Erin enjoyed school law but not law firm life so shifted over to the Minnesota Department of Education in 2000 first as a special education complaint investigator, later a special education program monitor and finally to supervise the program monitoring team. Her crew of twelve work statewide to improve public schools’ special education compliance and quality programming.
