Gavin Henrick is the CEO and co-founder of Brickfield Education Labs which provides an accessibility platform for Moodle using institutions to effectively manage accessibility and usability of their course materials. He has 17 years’ experience assisting organisations to implement a range of open-source learning solutions including Moodle.

His expertise in management and education technology has aided organisations with implementing and enhancing their use of virtual learning environments. He has an extensive record working with Moodle in the corporate and academic sectors since 2007.

He has delivered keynotes, run workshops, and presented at education and digital conferences on five continents on course design, accessibility, gamification, learning analytics and universal design for learning.

Gavin is an active member of the Moodle community, where he has worked for more than 14 years with Moodle Partners, Moodle HQ in addition to running the UK & Ireland MoodleMoot.

Gavin has co-authored three books on Moodle: Moodle 2.0 for Business Beginner’s Guide, Moodle Administration Essentials, and Moodle Add-ons. Gavin has also published several white papers on Moodle and some educational guides including the Moodle 2 Tool guide and the Moodle Universal Design for Learning Guide.
