Dr. Brett L. Bruner (he/him) serves as the Assistant Vice President for Student Success & Persistence in the Provost’s Office at Wichita State University. In his role, he provides leadership to the following areas within the Strategic Enrollment Management team: the Media Resources Center (which includes web services, audio visual engineering, academic accommodations and accessibility, campus media services, video services and WSUtv, and the Office of Instructional Resources); Office of Online & Adult Learning; Office of Student Success (including the Shocker Learning Center and the Office of First Year Programs); F1RST Generation Coordinating Council; first-year seminar program; Retention Faculty Fellows; and university-wide advising initiatives. His previous higher education leadership roles have included serving as the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs & Enrollment Management/Dean of Students at Missouri Western State University and the Dean of Student Engagement at Arkansas Tech University. He currently serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Technology in Higher Education hosted through the NASPA Technology Knowledge Community.
