Carrie Phillips is the Director of Marketing and Communication at Arkansas Tech University. She loves telling the Arkansas Tech story and helping others see the promise of an education. Under her leadership, ATU’s marketing team has launched a new logo, a new unified marketing campaign for the institution and developed key brand messaging platforms for the university. All this has kept her team busy over the last two years. She began her higher education career in social media where her work helped land the university on The Today Show and helped university campus ambassador Jerry the Bulldog be featured by Purina. Outside of her daily duties, she just defended her dissertation from Texas Tech University. Phillips also holds a marketing certification from the American Marketing Association and is a member of the District IV Cabinet for CASE (Council for the Advancement and Support of Education). She is also a puppy mom to Eleanor Belle—a 10-pound maltipoo.
