Nikki Massaro Kauffman is a Senior Design Engineer with Adobewhere she develops accessible web components for the Spectrum Web Components design system.
Prior to working at Adobe, Nikki worked as a Principle UX Engineer, Accessibility for Red Hat, and as a Programmer/Analyst at Penn State University, where she developed open-source web components to make Penn State University's online courses accessible, media rich and interactive.
She believes that accessibility, higher education, the web, and open source are about reaching more people. Nikki has degrees in computer science and in education and has been working in these fields since 1998. She has been presenting for HighEdWeb's events since 2008.
