Austin Tillison

Austin Tillison graduated in 2018 from Jacksonville State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication (broadcast focus) and a minor in film entertainment technology. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration. Tillison transferred to JSU in 2016 and began his studies in the communication program. While completing undergrad coursework, Tillison worked as a freelance camera operator in the area of Birmingham, Ala., which led to several years of invaluable production experience working on projects all across the Southeast. Tillison also worked as a content creator, shooter and editor for the JSU marketing and communications department during his time as a student. With a proper mix of real-world experience and education, Tillison went full time with the University in late 2018 and continues to develop and advance the production capabilities of his organization. Outside of work he enjoys traveling, live music and uploading to his own YouTube channels.
