Lacey serves as the Data Visualization Specialist for Institutional Effectiveness at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. In this role, she is responsible for training and consultation on a wide range of data visualization projects with the Institutional Research Analytics team as well as other analysts across AU. One main objective in this role is the creation and implementation of a data visualization identity for AU as to create a seamless user experience based on best practices related to audience analysis, content strategy, usability standards, user interface navigation and architecture.
Prior to her transition to Institutional Research, she worked as a data analyst for the Communications and Marketing department at AU. Here she acted as the data expert supporting the data-driven model of success for the division to achieve the goals set by the institutional strategic plan. During her time with the C&M team, she streamlined reporting practices and implemented tactics to support new department endeavors including mobile applications, podcasts, and multimedia projects.
Lacey is a 2015 graduate of Georgia Southern University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. Her previous work experience includes both large and small brands spanning multiple industries including entertainment, food & beverage, health & beauty, healthcare, and home improvement.
In her spare time, you can find her volunteering, reading, outside enjoying the walking trails along the Savannah River or spending time with family, particularly the family dog, Stella.
