Sprints and superheroes: how Agile has transformed the way we work

Date & Time

(UTC-05:00) Central Time (US & Canada)

Description

As the enterprise web services group at Carleton University, we are responsible for over 600 websites. Two years ago we transitioned to an Agile framework for managing our projects and it has transformed the way we work. In this presentation I will talk about what we were doing before Agile, why we adopted the framework, how we made the transition and why we think it’s awesome. I’ll share the tools we use, how we run our meetings and how we balance operational work and project work (hint: it involves a superhero). And of course, the lessons learned along the way.
