Description

The role of a social media manager is transforming into a digital community manager. This doesn’t happen overnight and requires new skill sets that marketing, communications, and public relations may not be accustomed to. Community building isn’t just for Facebook group moderation, rather a philosophy and practice to be present in every digital communications channel. This discussion will feature an experienced group of higher education digital community builders, as well as a leading researcher on digital community building.
