                Description
A new wave of JavaScript frameworks have been making their debut over the last few years. Among these are React, Ember, Angular, Backbone. Each in it’s own way is taking a Model-View architectural pattern and using JavaScript to accomplish more of the same tasks at the level of the browser. But where would a programmer begin to understand this new set of tools? This presentation will cover the basics of why these libraries exist, what benefits and drawbacks they can present to the programmer, and a couple examples written in one of the most popular frameworks, React.JS.
