Biography

Blake Bedsole is a higher education lifer, entering the field as a student worker and then graduate assistant in the office of Orientation and Special Programs at the University of Alabama before spending five years as the director of admissions and student services for the MBA program at the Manderson Graduate School of Business at UA.  He would later serve as Director of Graduate Enrollment Management at the University of Alabama Graduate School before moving on to stints at the University of West Alabama (Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management), Arkansas Tech University (VP of Enrollment Management), and the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith (Director of Admissions and School Relations) before landing at Troy University as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management in 2024.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology (2003) and a Master of Arts degree in higher education administration (2006) from the University of Alabama. He earned a Doctor of Education degree in higher education management in 2013 from the University of Georgia.
