Georgy Cohen has spent more than 20 years leading digital strategy and content strategy initiatives for colleges and universities.

Her experience includes stints leading web and social strategy at Tufts University and Suffolk University, running her own independent consultancy to higher education, and serving as vice president of digital strategy at OHO.

Upon her arrival at OHO, Georgy founded the content strategy practice, creating new deliverables and processes for the agency's website projects. Over time, she became director of the Strategy team, leading a group of strategists that worked collaboratively with an integrated team to create sustainable and impactful digital strategies for a range of clients.

At OHO, Georgy also supported business development and thought leadership efforts — writing proposals, winning pitches, and publishing and speaking widely.

Georgy co-founded a higher ed content strategy resource called Meet Content, which was active 2010–2014. During this time, Meet Content collaborated with leading content strategy firm Brain Traffic to help program the Confab Higher Ed conference, which ran for four years, in addition to publishing dozens of articles, managing an online community and speaking at conferences nation-wide.

Georgy is an international speaker who has been featured at conferences including AMA Higher Ed, HighEdWeb/DigiCol, CUPRAP, PRSA Counselors to Higher Ed, ContentEd, Confab Higher Ed, AJCU Marcom Summit and other invited speaking opportunities at university campuses.

Georgy's background is in journalism. Her first job was in the fast-paced online newsroom of The Boston Globe, and she graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from Boston University.
