Today, we’re honored as our CEO, Tracy Dirks, accepts the United Way Spirit of NC Award on behalf of Beacon. AuthoraCare Collective would like to thank Beacon Technologies in Greensboro for recently donating their time and talents to the Kids Path garden as part of their BeaconCares program. The Beacon team, including Chief Technology Officer and Senior Partner John Scaramuzzo, spread seven tons of gravel dust, or "screenings," on the worn-down pathways of the Kids Path garden. This was a monumental undertaking and one that required the determination and strength of a cohesive team! "We really enjoyed getting to help and hearing the stories that Sally Cobb, Horticultural Therapist, shared about the great work her team does with the patients and their loved ones," said Elizabeth Ellingson, HR and Events Manager at Beacon Technologies in Greensboro. "It was just inspiring!" Cobb added that "Stout Trucking, in Greensboro, donated the gravel dust and delivered it, as they have done in the past whenever we had the need." #yourstory #ourexpertcare
