Description

Vended digital products and services are an accessibility pain point for most organizations. We’re required by different laws to ensure that the digital tools and content we offer to our users are accessible, but many vendors don’t know enough about accessibility to give an informed response to our requests for accessibility information. In this presentation, Annie will discuss her strategies for triaging, assessing, and improving vended products and services, highlighting the ways that she has tried to reduce the Cornell community’s exposure to inaccessible digital products and content without doing too much free work for vendors.

After the session is over, we’ll continue the conversation on our #accessibility Slack channel. All HighEdWeb members are welcome to join the HighEdWeb Slack Workspace.
