Biography
LaTonya Motley has worked in higher education for more than fifteen years on issues related to instructional design, technology, and faculty development. In her current position at Northland Pioneer College she is the Department Chair for Instructional Technology and Curriculum Support and a Faculty in Educational Technology. Her research has been into the best practices for designing and delivering online instruction in higher education. She has a Master of Science degree in Instructional Design and Technology and Educational Specialist Certificate in Learning Design and Technology. LaTonya has delivered numerous workshops, conference presentations, and facilitated learning communities around the topic of universal design for learning, course design, and web accessibility. She is a certified Quality Matters Peer Reviewer for Higher Education and a Microsoft Certified Educator in Technology Literacy.
