🤷♂️ To AI or not to AI, that is NOT the question. We're goin' in, people! 🌊 [See 2nd image for our team's video/audio taster menu!] I've been working with my leadership team to see how we strip back to do more, with the team and budgets we have. We want to triple down our ability to create messaging, content and experiences that are both relevant and memorable to our audiences. 'Meh' won't cut it. We're stripping the noise from "busy-ness" and all things "because everyone does it". We're not hiring more people nor hiking up budgets. I need the team creative and invested in our PoV. AI should be used to improve on the delivery and speed. Sign of our times, and that's good. Navigating AI is an opportunity we can't walk past, or delay. We need it to do "better" with the same/less. But, the choices are insanely broad and deep. 🤯 We don't know what we don't know. And that's okay....IF we plan for the uncertainty. So we're building in adaptability in our choices, budgets and activities - so swapping out any tool or attached workflow won't botch our efforts and lock us into a path that doesn't work. I know we're not alone in this. Next week, Squiz is talking AI with John-Paul Syriatowicz Syriatowicz – Squiz Co-Founder, and Chris Howard – Slalom  Managing Director, Data, Analytics & AI to get practical about this very same challenge. ⏭ How can you benefit from this new AI Era❓ 🔁 How can you quickly pivot when customer needs change❓ ⏫ What new tech should you prioritize❓ ▶ What are the first steps❓ ⬆️ All questions that we have, and I'm sure many of you do too. So ask them, and get personalized answers you can take away to apply straight off the bat. Sign up ⭐️ https://lnkd.in/e2J3B-Vv Lorna Hegarty will be grilling JP and Chris with your questions - so comment 👇 below to submit yours ahead of the session. #DigitalMarketing #Technology #AI

Throwback Friday (it still works! 😅) Look how far we've come! These images show what web pages looked like in the 1990s. The concept of user experience hadn't really been born, so designers experimented with lots of different colours, layouts, and styles – resulting in web pages often looking too busy (but we kind of love it!) Fast forward to today and pages are all about simplicity. Getting to the information quickly without too many buttons to click or copy to skim. Why is this 🤔 Is it because we lead busy lives and need information at lightning speed❓ Is it because a well-designed site means well-designed products and services❓ Would you trust a website that still looked like this? 👇 #DigitalMarketing #Technology #DXP

Worried about AI security❓ Normally, it's people breaking in. But now, could your team be willingly sharing company IP with third-party services? 😱 AI democratization dominated 2023 – with this trend continuing in 2024. We've seen lots of teams playing with this new tech... which is great! ✅ AI isn't going anywhere, so embracing it is key! But now, teams can download whatever free AI tool from the web and your org should consider the risks and how to mitigate these. Greg Sherwood – CTO at Squiz, says... 💬 There has always been shadow IT in organizations where staff can enter their credit card to access SaaS services, without going through official IT governance. But today, what this means is that we have a data protection problem. Compared to traditional models of risk, there is no longer an attacker coming in – the problem lies in the fact that company IP is being so easily and willingly shared. 💬 So, what can be done❓ Companies and individuals need to judge the security of these tools. Consider... Is the vendor trustworthy? How do you know? What's their data retention policy? What are the T&Cs of the contract you have with them? It takes just a little a spark to ignite a flame. THIS was a ‘thang’ to start Tuesday with! 😍 Squiz took part in a fun March Madness competition this past month held by Konabos for the DXP/CMS/Digital Experience software sector. 4 rounds of LI voting to move forward. A brilliant effort that got competing companies' teams and networks to rally around us each round. Amazing organic campaign Konabos! [Marketing taking notes!] Over the last 4 weeks, I have to admit, I was floored by the culture bomb that went off with our teams around the world. Squiz peeps - you were a MOVEMENT. 🌊 🌊 What started as a singular, quiet Product team nomination became a Marketing push, but rapidly turned into a peer-to-peer grassroots movement from every corner of the US, Australia, UKIE, NZ, Poland. I really paused to ask myself "What just happened here?" 🤔 I discovered that sometimes, when you're all working on the work - fun and camaraderieship can get put on the backburner. It's normal, especially in a get-it-done culture we live in. Then...something comes along to remind us of what "fun-together" is, on a global scale; involving not just some people but everyone. We are all equally important, and everyone counts. Every one is needed so that we ALL win. Our people are proud of who we are, what we stand for, and how we do it - for customers, and each other. We are FOR Squiz vs. against others. We are building up, not tearing down. We are about Winning Together. This competition was immense fun, and really humbling as a leader.... When we play, we play hard, and we play the full 48 mins! Am so darn proud to be part of this crew. 😢 To the Squiz family, customers and extended network of supporters who joined in our campaign - 🙇♀️ 🙇♂️ 🙇♀️ 🙇♂️ 🙏 !!! You showed up and showed out! THANK YOU. Whether it's for a fun campaign like this, serving our amazing customers, working with brilliant partners or innovating the heck out of our Digital Experience Platform - that's how we roll. If you haven't heard of us - we'd love to chat! https://www.squiz.net/ Squiz out. 🎤 🎬 [I'm fresh out of claps 👏! 🤣 ]

Congratulations to Squiz in winning the 2nd Annual Konabos March Madness tournament. Over this three-month campaign, their competitive spirit and team cohesiveness really showed out. And also a hearty congratulations to runner-up Constructor, who quietly but methodically took down the competition each round and gave Squiz its best opposition! Lastly, let's give one final 👏 to us all, to everyone, every company, and to our industry at large who made Konabos March Madness 2024 one for the record books! At your wits end? 🤯 Accenture reported a 183% increase in the rate of change in the last four years and they expect that to accelerate further. Customer needs have changed. And almost overnight! 🤖 AI is leading the charge in this new era. Leaving our marketing and digital leaders excited, but also overwhelmed… How can we pivot marketing strategies in a risk-averse climate❓ How can we make investments that pay off amidst a sea of new tech❓And, what should we prioritize❓ In this live AMA session, John-Paul Syriatowicz – Squiz Co-Founder and Chris Howard – Managing Director, Data, Analytics & AI, at Slalom will discuss how to: 1️⃣ Ditch "analysis paralysis" – moving forward with high-impact initiatives 2️⃣ Pilot new tools with intent, without blowing your budget 3️⃣ Adapt your digital roadmap to capitalize on market shifts 4️⃣ Demonstrate value to leadership Join us on Monday 30th April 2024 at 13:00 AEDT ⏰ 💬 Got a question for our panelists?
